Cabo Wabo, Mexico
“Where land ends, the party begins!”

Lost somewhere south of civilization and north of the revolucion lies Cabo San Lucas, Mexico… a small fishing village turned rock n’ roll Mecca.
With an incredible array of first-class resorts, world class fishing, activities for the entire family and elegant dining venues, Cabo San Lucas has much to offer. Bla, bla bla…
But what really matters is that Cabo Wabo is satellite home to the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar. True, Sammy was basically a band-aid for the leaking demise of the once great, heavy metal band Van-Halen. But somehow, Sammy Hagar took the reins as front man for a band that another guy made famous and turned it into a lightweight Wallmart oriented rocker crowd, pleased with light pop infused remnants of the once great Eddie Van-Halen guitar licks. If you love the Superbowl, you know you love Van-Hagar. And Cabo Wabo is the foreign destination custom built for you.
If you’re ever chilling in Cabo, make sure you stop by the world famous Cabo Wabo Cantina. Sammy owns and operates this holy ground of butt rock. If you’re lucky you might catch him headlining his band “The Other Ones’ with the discarded, but once great, Michael Anthony (No, not the guy that married J-Lo).
Cabo Wabo Cantina, South Lake Tahoe, Ca.

If you happen to be a thrifty, All-American Rocker, no trip to Lake Tahoe would be complete without a stop at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Sammy Hagar’s popular hotspot offers a variety of appetizers and delectable authentic entrees, such as fish tacos, chile relleno lobster burritos, chicken tamales and fajitas. Venturing here is a last ditch effort to find a place to rock in Lake Tahoe.
Complete your visit to the Red Rocker’s cantina by sampling one of the many specialty drinks made with Sammy Hagar’s signature Cabo Wabo tequila.
Nightly Hours of Operation: Lounge open at 4 p.m. Dining room at 5 p.m.
Perhaps it’s best to just stay home and solidify your place in rock shlockdom by ordering something online from the rocker shwag kiosk at the Van-Halen Store.
